Are you passionate about football and storytelling? We're looking for a Social Media Assistant to help bring our brand’s heritage to life. You'll support our Lead Social Media Manager in planning and executing engaging content, managing community interactions, and assisting with campaigns. A keen eye for trends, strong communication skills, and a love for the game are essential. If you're organized, creative, and eager to grow in digital marketing, we want to hear from you!
Location: Manchester City Centre, Hybrid once passed probation (3 days in the office, 1-2 days a week remote)
Hours: The role is a full-time position, 39 hours per week, 5 days a week, between Monday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manager Support: Assist the Lead Social Media Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing engaging social media content that aligns with our brand’s heritage.
- Content Research & Storytelling: Help research and develop compelling narratives that highlight the stories behind our products, iconic players, and memorable football moments.
- Community Engagement: Support the management of our social media channels by monitoring activity, responding to audience interactions, and fostering a positive community environment.
- Campaign Assistance: Collaborate on social media campaigns, providing research, coordination, and performance tracking to refine our digital strategies.
- Trend Analysis: Stay informed on current social media trends and football news tocontribute fresh ideas and timely content recommendations.
- Analytics & Reporting: Assist in compiling and analyzing social media metrics to gauge the success of campaigns and inform future strategies.
About you
- Passion for football, with a strong appreciation for its history and culture
- Prior experience or keen interest in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging narratives
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and basic analytics tools
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
